Newbie - Question - Water leak

First, I live in Nevada and just bought a Rockwood from a dealer in Utah so it appears this Pup was "winterized". The pup is a Rockwood with a dinette slideout. When I connect to public water, the faucets/shower works but there is a lot of leaking from the front side of the dinette slide-out. I have to assume it might be from the hot water heater or something but I don't know. Also, today I turned on the "water pump" to pull water from the water tank through the faucets/shower and that works fine but again, there's leaking from what seems to be under the slide out. Does anyone know how to access the water heater/plumbing under the slide out without taking it completely out? Is there something the PO might have disconnected to "winterize" that I might not be aware of? How's the best way to check what could be leaking?? (Oh, it's not coming from the water tank - it leaks from the seem of the pup just in front of the slide-out).
Thank you!
TS

this is why you should have had the dealer hook everything up and run it, along with the converter(from your other issue), during your PDI.
then you could've found these issues out, before leaving the dealership, especially since you're so far from the Utah dealer.

sounds like a loose water line or something open/cracked.
does it have a water filter?

Water and gas lines do tend to work loose, for those connected to a slide the problem is compounded.
Take it back and have the dealer deal with it.

Bikendan, You're right. We did have a little PDI but it was 20 degrees in Utah when we were going through everything and I didn't know the right questions to ask to be honest. If you've never had one, you don't know what to ask I think. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. This is my first pup even though I have wanted one for years! They are *very* hard to find in Nevada. A person could make a killing selling pups out here. Anyway, that's no excuse I know but I did ask as many questions that I could think of and would ask many more since I've spent 24 + hours trying to get to know this baby.

So....I'm still curious to know if there is a way to get to the water lines under the slideout without taking out the slideout? Also, I saw someone post a picture of the hot water tank from a "birdseye" view. Is there a secret to seeing the water heater from the top rather than the "front" inside the cabinet? Just curious. Thanks in advance for any insights.

Remove cushions from dinette area and see if the plywood seats lift up to access area.

Hi,
In case anyone else has this issue I thought I would post what I found in another forum.
Starcraft 2409 Water coming from under the dinette slideout?

Thanks for the thoughts. Although "take it back to the dealer" might be the easy answer, sometimes if you keep looking you're bound to find a helpful soul willing to share.
Thanks to all for your responses.

Granted, did you buy a warranty?

contact the Rockwood popup warranty person at FR and ask for a local dealer to recommend. or you can take it to an independent RV shop and get the warranty work approved from the warranty person at FR. you'll have to pay for the work upfront, but FR will reimburse you if it's pre-approved work.

sorry, just saw your other post and that it's a used 2010 unit, so no factory warranty.
are you sure that the previous owners had a problem and didn't disclose it?

We had a similar problem on our Rockwood pop up once. Turns out, I didn't pull the slide out evenly and a water line under the dinette got knocked loose. I had to take the facing off the front of the dinette platform and reach way under to fix the leak.
