Also, BTW, you need to get your shock package ordered and installed. You DW said so.

The control knob is locked up, all other parts are fine, but wondered about taking a table top gas grill and robbing parts. Not sure if it is low pressure or not though

Start soaking the control knob with WD40 and working it. Probably corroded. Remove it, remove the knob and put it in a container of WD40 overnight.

It is the mechanism that is messed up, not really a freeze up...

If you had the RVQ regulator go south on you, I could have assisted you. I had the RVQ low pressure regulator removed by the RV dealer when they put in a line for my unit.

Its in my collection drawer in my garage in bubble wrap in event someone needs one. No dial though. sorry

We have a rockwood 2280 that came with the grill. I went on ebay and bought an extra hose so we could put grill on table instead of side of camper. Worked great

So what do u guys use for a heat shield or stand when using your gas grill on the picnic table? I like this idea but don't want to burn the table. We seem to find burned tables at lots of camp sites.

I'm not saying its you guys burning the tables ... Lol. Just curious.

The rack that fits on the side of the camper can be turned 90 d and set on a table and the rods hold the grill about 8" off the table top. No problems with heat on the table.

Never thought of that. I'm not sure mine will allow that (A126 RV500 grill) but I'll check it out next time I'm out.

It should. My A128s RV Grill will do it. (There is a "T" shaped connector on the grill that the stand fits in.)

BTW: I am still trying to find a low cost 10' (or there abouts) extension hose for my grill. Anyone have any recommendations (must be cheap!).
