Outside grill line too short on Rockwood HW276

I just purchased a 2016 Rockwood HW276. The gas line outside is about 6 inches too short to attach to my outside grill. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Anyone know how to fix it easily? I would assume this should be under warranty. Thanks!

I have a 2015 hw276 and my propane hose for the outside grill was to short too. I had the dealer replace it under the warrenty.

True but if under warranty why should you have to fix it and pay for it too. But my dealer is 5 minutes from my house.

Add 8 inch's of pipe to the end and then reattach the hose.

Why put yourself thru the aggravation of dealing with the RV dealer?

That's horrible! I wonder if it's just kinked or caught on something inside the compartment.

Sometimes, we want to cook further away from the camper so I found this 10-foot gas line extension on Amazon...currently going for $24.72.

I'm not sure if the link will work, but it's called
Camco 57282 10' Propane Quick-Connect Hose

If it's a quick disconnect hose then you can get a short(36" QD hose and just daisy chain the two.

Thanks for the link on the gas hose. I had questioned about using the grill so close to the camper so we got the longer hose. Now we have both and like the options.

We have a 2016 hw296 and or hose is really short to. You really need to work to get it to the grill. Mine is in getting repairs now. I think I will call them and add this issue. Thanks everyone.

In my Rockwood they coiled up and fastened the hose to the wall behind the fireplace, I uncoiled and and it is plenty long enough now.
