Outside lights... Post your pics.

Down these mean streets a man must go who is not himself mean, who is neither tarnished nor afraid. He must be a complete man and a common man and yet an unusual man. He must be, to use a rather weathered phrase, a man of honor, by instinct, by inevitability, without thought of it, and certainly without saying it. He must be the best man in his world and a good enough man for any world.

I know that there are some lights out there for security when your at a camp site. I know there are some lights out there for decorations. I also know that there are individuals that would rather enjoy the sky than see a bright light in there face. I decided on finding a place that allowed me to be in the middle. I am new to these forums and to the world of popup campers but I am 14+ years veteran of camping and have a decent idea as to what I don't mind seeing. I was wondering what y'all use to light your night before bed during the adult hours...

These pictures are of the product because most of it has recently arrived from Amazon and has yet to be implemented in the field. I'll add some night shots within the next few weeks. I'll go first...

The star shower is great for low level light while the large bulb light are for when everyone is awake before bed.

Multicolor LEDs at awning. Mostly keep on red for bug control.

We use a bucket light a good bit by itself to keep bugs away from the main door. Used a multicolor LED bulb inside the bucket and the bulb came with a remote as well. You can turn off without having to unplug.

This picture is from another Aviator owner. The cool underglow makes it seem like a spaceship landing!

Is it bad when you see all of the photos and the only thing you really want to do is "call in sick" for the weekend so that you can go camping?

I'm not going to lie... Decided to get the Star Shower AFTER I had to pry my kids from bothering a site just down from ours the first night we took out the new popup.😏

What are you going to use to keep the LED light strip to your RV.. Want to put them under awning and wire to outside light, but having difficulty figuring out what to use the will last and not let the strips fall off.

Thanks,
Bruce

Mine LED Strip came in a silicon sleeve that makes it waterproof. Tried to use normal double-sided tape (Scotch Extreme Outdoor) and it would not stick to the silicon.
The only thing I could find that would work was Eternabond Doublestick. So far its seems to be working ok.

I ran the wire down the front awning arm and thru the hole already there for the awning power. Placed the control module inside the storage compartment right near a 12v source. Very easy install once I was able to mount the LED strip. My favorite setting is 'Fade 7' where wife only likes white.

These are my tacky lights which I put together from several different sets of old-type light sets, with a theme of "Mickey Mouse Public Safety Team." It includes, firetrucks, police cars, hydrants, Dalmatians, American Flags, and of-course, Mickey Mouse(s) (mice)...lol What the heck is "URL for image?" Why can't I just browse my pics and double-click to include in my post?
