Overslung bump stops

I am going to do the overslung axle "flip" and it was recommended to me to get bump stops. Any know what size bump stops are recommended and a good way to attach them? Thank you in advance!

If you are going from axle on top of springs to axle under the springs, why would you need a bump stop when you will have more clearance between the springs and the frame? If you didn't have them before, you sure won't need them after the flip.

If you still want them, go to a junk yard and get them from any car or 1/2T truck.

Maybe I'm backwards, spring is going to top of the axle for increased clearance.

So, right now before any modifications, your springs sit on top of the axle?

Which is like you have right now? Top picture or bottom picture?

No, I'm apparently all confused today. The springs are currently below the axle. I'm moving the springs to the top of the axle to get more clearance.

From the factory they come with the axle over the springs, and it is a practice to shift the axle under the springs to give you more lift. I had the axles moved to give me about 4.5" of clearance and they did not install bump stops.

This picture, taken under my trailer show the springs over the axle. Not sure where the bump stop would be needed. If the top of the spring bracket hit the trailer frame there is a big problem....
