Those are awesome pictures. Thanks! Will definitely help out a lot of us who are considering the HW296. Lots of good measurements. The openings should be the same on the other high wall models as well I would think.

So what the heck is in the cabinet to the rear by the fridge? Is that not under the microwave? Usually that is a huge open cabinet. Is it filled with something? Or was that your stuff in there?

The way it looks now is you open the outside door and it is filled up with something. Why cut a hole into the outside wall of the pup if the compartments is filled with mechanical stuff.

Thanks,

Vin.

It's the outside grill.

Picked up our new Rockwood HW296.

That's an awesome rig. I went with the HW276 because the 296 wouldn't fit in my garage......we love ours and we tend to forget that we are in a popup!

Did you use a WD (weight distribution) hitch?

I have 2008 (new to me) HW296. My TV is a 2013 Ford F150 Limited

Richard,

No I just use the hitch from the truck. I don't think the tongue weight is heavy enough for me to use.

I got the WD hitch from the previous owner who has a Ford Excursion and used it. I am a newbie to towing, so went with it. May try it with just regular hitch and see what it feels like. That being said that HW is a big POP up.

Thanks
