1988 Coleman Sequoia. First camping trip, October 1987, Branson, MO.
Mamouth Spring, Arkansas, same trip. How about those classy wood sides on the Caravan?

My rig
I just signed on to the forum. This is my 2010 MAC BR28TSC and the prime mover. I have installed dual propane tanks and an auto-crossover regulator. My shoulders are shot so I added an electric tongue jack. I'm due for new brakes this spring (what size are those anyway?).
The tow vehicle is a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit with a 5.7 liter Hemi and full tow package including auto leveling (no air bags needed). I use a Tekonsha brake controller and the auto-braking feature on the Jeep actuates it!
I haul a 2013 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO and some prospecting gear.
I rarely see these on the road as well.

Ya Don't blame U on the power tongue Jack.
In just ordered a Brand new Rockwood HW296 Fully loaded and I got the power tongue Jack as well, I'm getting tired of Cranking the handle to tiring.
I also ordered a New Ford Explorer Sport Fully loaded with a ECO Boost V6 Twin Turbo.

Yes, their having a blast! They wished they'd gotten it sooner. They've been hitting some very secluded area's in the Western NC mountains.

Our Forest River 1940LTD
We enjoyed camping last year and can't wait for better weather to get back out on the road in 2017.

1940 pic
Tiguan, thanks for posting! My wife, daughter, and I love our 1940- just the right size for us and easy to tow. Getting ready to camp, going to a primitive site, my daughter loves hiking and reading books so no wifi is not a big deal...sometimes I wish I had a generator but the peace and quiet make me forget..

Ok, I'll play.
Former camper was a Dutchman Flipper. Strange little popup with beds that flipped out from the two sides. It was very small and light and well within the tow-ratings of my Kia Rondo. Added advantage was that I didn't have to unhitch to set it up!
The Flipper was OK when it was just the two kids and I, but since the family grew to 2 adults and 3 kids I had to upgrade to this Flagstaff 228D pulled with a 2011 Grand Caravan.

Hello spurticus,
I also have the Super high wind gizmos and can't stand having to hook up all the cords. Try this mod. You'll love it. I also did the Velcro, so I leave them on all the time unless they are wet and need to dry out. Good luck
