Pinched Stove Gas Line 228D

We just returned from 5 weeks of camping and struggled with a pinched gas line feeding the stove. It appears to be a design or installation flaw because line becomes twisted when the stove/sink is unfolded. It looks like a 90 degree gas elbow is needed at the interface of the steel line and flexible line? I was able to get it to work again by repositioning the line, but I plan to replace it at the end of the season before it totally fails and becomes a major leak.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

No I have not. Getting ready for trip early next week, I will look at mine to make sure I don't have that problem. Thanks for the information.

Yes! I curled the hose around under the stove and that fixed the kink problem. Also it takes several tries for me to make a really good connection. If I check and tweak these two things it always solves the problem.

Solved Gas Line Kink

I ended up going to a local hardware store and purchase a 90 degree fitting and new line. The 'factory' installation will cause the line to kink routinely without installing the 90 degree fitting on the metal line which connect to the flexible hose. This minor change should prevent future problems with the stoves gas supply pressure.
