Pine sap

I have a pop up and camped under a large pine. Now my canvas is covered with sap drops. Any suggestions to remove it without hurting the canvas?

I've used Goo Gone. I would do a test area, in an inconspicuous area, with whatever you decide to use to make sure it doesn't adversely affect your canvas.

Was a problem on my tents when I lived in Georgia. An old farmer told me use an eye dropper and put lemon juice on the sap spots and rub it in a little bit. Let it soak 15 minutes and use a soft bristle brush and some mild detergent/water mix. Dawn works well. Scrub softly and then use some plain water to take out any soap residue.

I've had good success using a Mr. Clean Majic Erasers. They really work well on the siding too.

We had good results from using hand sanitizer. On the fiberglass camper I would heat it up with the hair dryer on high, squirt some hand sanitizer on it then wipe it off. put a little wax on the spot and ready to go. We use it on the car as we live with Spruce trees all around. As suggested use some in an inconspicous place to make sure it doesn't affect the color of the material.
We also use it on the dog when he gets it in his fur.

Good results using 91% rubbing alcohol. Took off the sap quickly. Available at your local drug store. I keep a bottle in my TT just in case.

Whoops! Isopropyl alcohol is what I use.
