plastic strips - Rockwood tent trailer

Hello!

I just purchased a Rockwood Freedom 1940LTD. I can't figure out what those black vinyl strips on the inside of the windows are for! The windows zip down, and the strips are attached at the top? New-bee!

Thanks!

Hi there,
We also have a rockwood, and I think the strips are just there to hold the zip downs in place and keep them out of the way of potential damage.

We have a Rockwood HW277 and also have those. You will notice that where those are there are no tie straps for when the window is rolled down. These hold the window in place rolled or should you simply unzip and let it sag. Where you do not have these there are small tie straps to secure the rolled window. I hope this helps, Scott

I have a rockwood HW276 and that's what I use them for as we'll. you can take them off but when the window is unzipped, that's that holds it in place.
