Pop up Trailer replacement door latch/lock

Hi all,

Has anyone replaced their door latch/lock on their pop up camper? I have a 1999 Flagstaff Classic 620 and I need to replace the lock as it no longer will work at all. I've done a little research and found one on Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/JR-Products-10.../dp/B002UBZJVC which is supposed to be universal, as per a dealer near me.

Anyone able to confirm this one will work, and is it as simple as it looks to remove the old one and install the new one?

As usual, thank you all for your help

Ben

That latch should work fine. I had a problem with mine as well and found the spring had shifted into the hole in the door causing binding issues.

Yes basically. I'm thinking it should be pretty easy to change out.

Remove two screws from inside the trailer that are holding the inside and outside handles and basically, it pulls apart.
