Hete is what it looks like. There are several companies that make them, this just blends in with the backyard and when we go camping. I move it around alot, sometimes aimed at the neighbors dog and other times at mine when the kids next door are in their backyard playing loud and crazy.
I picked mine up at Cabelas, it was on sale. Its also in pet catalogs and at Petco or Petmart. It costs around 50-....not cheap but well worth peace of mind. Most of the time it hangs in my dogs' view - they see me walk around with it and immediately desist and become good dogs ("who me?")
I have seen some that have a remote pointer. Sort of like a laser pen. I have no experience with that but would love to buy one to find out. Wouldnt that be great when walking by a noisy dog in your neighborhood or campground. Maybe when I have extra funds...LOL
