Power lift motor issues

Tonight I arrived at the campsite we got for the weekend, leveled etc, went to raise the roof and right before it got half way up, heard a bang and the motor stopped. It wouldn't work up or down. I check the cables under the trailer and they looked fine and had tension. I went back and hit the down button and it worked for two inches and stopped again. I manually lowered the roof the rest of the way, it wasn't smooth like I expected, turning the motor by wrench handle, it was blocky feeling even stopped me turing it a few times. I'm thinking the motor broke internally. 2017 Rockwood 2516G.
