PUP Cover Recommendations?

I assume it is a good idea to cover the pop up when not in use or at least over the winter (I live in Iowa).

I have a 12' box and an A/C unit on top. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good cover? The ones I have seen so far are only for flat top campers without an A/C unit.

Thank you in advance!

I have the MAC 208, which is a 10' box and what we did this year was placed the AC cover on, and then also had a vented camper cover from the dealership overtop. While it didn't have a cutout or a spot for the AC unit, it sloped over nicely to help the rain shed off of it.

Don't forget to lower the tongue jack to create a slope too. One day I came over to check the camper and found a puddle of water infront of the AC unit on the roof, as the cover created a little pool for it to stay there as it rose up over the AC unit. Lowering the tongue jack let the water run off the front of the camper.

My AC unit is located towards the back, so I didn't have the same issue on the back side.

See pics of my cover here:

Thank you, Rob! Not only do I appreciate the info, but I also bookmarked your link so I can develop a good check list this coming winter (hopefully faaaar off).

I like that you have the tongue covered too. How much bigger of a cover did you buy to make that a possibility?

When I shopped for an RV Cover, most of them said to add an extra foot for the A/C.

That's what they told me. It then fit over my tongue too! Be careful though, as if it covers the tongue and tongue jack, it may rip thru in a storm

It happened to me this spring with a good storm with winds. I"m going to reinforce the cover in this area now and then see if I can use a pool noodle or something to cover the tongue and jack so it doesn't friction thru again. At least that's the plan......
