PUP tongue jack question

So on my first trip, i had my tongue jack raised completely up, but went over a fairly high drop off when exiting a parking lot, and scraped the tongue jack foot on the ground. (OUCH!!!!)

The wheel was not installed at the time, and the scraping bent the shaft at the very end where the wheel inserts into the foot of the shaft. I tried banging it back into place with a ball-peen hammer, and that did not even begin to budge the area to get it back in round. Bottom line, I still cant get the wheel on.

Does any one know if this is a serviceable item, or do I need to replace the entire tongue jack? It is a Lippert, and I can always call them, but I figured I would ask this here first.

I have since bought a new straight hitch rather than the one I was using with a 2" drop with hopes the my TV (2013 Nissan Frontier) not be too high for trailering my PUP.

My PUP is a 2015 Viking 2308ST, and was the first time I ever used it.

Any advice anyone could give would be great.

thanks,
Nick

I would get a new Jack, we know its bent but are the gears damaged/ stripped?

I would also return the hitch you purchased and just flip what you currently have.

you'll go from a 2 inch drop to a .75 inch rise, and if you install the Dexter axle lift kit on the trailer( $65 from find it parts) it will sit level, I can say this as i have a 2007 xterra and a 2016 rockwood 2516G
