Re-caulk Roof - 2006 Rockwood Freedom 1940 LTD

I recently purchased this Rockwood Freedom 1940 LTD pop up and want to re-caulk the roof prior to use this summer. I have removed the caulking next to the edge caps on the roof that run the length of the pop up on either side front to back. Can I now just re-caulk with some Dicor Self Leveling on the roof next to the edging or is there a need to remove the edging, caulk underneath it and then replace and caulk next to it?

Hope my question makes sense. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

If you took it to a dealer to do, they would simply apply the dicor self leveling lap sealant at this point.

I went around with some de-greaser before I did mine just to remove any residue.

So long as the dicor sealant is completely covering any gap between the roof material and the edge cap, you are good to go.

I was planning to wipe the area down with acetone prior to the Dicor as I have read from other posts. Any other thoughts or suggestions to this or my original question?

Check the dicor instructions, they may advise against acetone. I think rubbing alcohol is sufficient.

Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant - Product - Camping World

if you search around there are other places that often sell it cheaper. Virtually any camper dealer will have this in stock.
