Rear View Camera for Flagstaff HW27KS. . .Priceless!

If you are considering a rear view camera, I'd second the motion. I just installed one on our Flagstaff HW27KS right below the center clearance lights and it works like a charm. I installed a TadiBrothers digital wireless system w/a 5" LCD monitor and it provides a great view behind the trailer. I chose the high definition camera that also has infrared lights to help you see at night. The nighttime view is adequate, but the daytime view is crystal clear! It's great for lane changes and backing it up into a parking spot. Since it's a digital wireless system, the camera is "paired" with the monitor to minimize any interference. I haven't seen any interference so far; however, I've only had it installed for a couple of days.

The instructions that come with the unit are very poor, so you either need to know how to install something into a 12v system or have someone do it that is familiar with that type of installation.

Sounds like a great addition, both for safety and convenience.

I've heard others had issues with the signal traveling all the up to the cab. Don't know if you had a chance to use it while towing, but was wondering if this is an issue for you.

I'd hope the pairing helps to alleviate this issue, but I'd love to hear your take.

I tow my HW27KS with a Ford Excursion, so we're quite long in travel mode, hence my concern.
