Thanks everyone for the info. I've also found a couple things in here about what to do. Giving some thought to adding the trailer hitch with receiver to the rear bumper. Right now it's just my daughters bike so one ain't too much trouble yet. But as we get another bike or two that's when I'll really need it. First couple trips will be a learning experience to see what I need. Thanks everyone for your input.

Not the bumper. You want it bolted directly to the frame.

1070 just got the new camping world magazine in there they had a bike hitch that mounted to the tongue and went above the hitch.. Stromberg Carlson (CC-275) Bike Bunk for Cargo Tray

what kind of a tow vehicle are you using? Would a front receiver hitch be a option?

If your Jeep Wrangler is a hard top why not a roof mounted system?

You should be able to find a front receiver hitch for a Wrangler
