Refrigerator lock

Just coming back from a cross country trip. We've hit some pretty bumpy roads, and the plastic latch for our fridge doesn't want to hold the fridge closed over the bumps. This is happening more often when the door is heavy with food and whatnot. Any one else have this issue? Has anyone purchased and installed, or retrofitted some kind of lock to keep the door from opening and losing food?

On our last unit one of the little catches in the fridge door frame rounded off so we looped a bungee cord through the door handle when traveling and hooked it to the range hood lip.

You could use a slide (surface) bolt, if you want something permanently mounted on the door. They make some pretty nice looking ones.
