replace 7 way harness on 2014 rockwood Freedom 1910

I need to replace the 7 way harness on my Rockwood Freedom 1910. It is a 4ft cable with 7 way end to the vehicle and 6 way proprietary end to the trailer. Rockwood uses a non standard cable and wiring schematic. I bought a 4ft Curt harness to replace but need to know which wires go where? Pictures of the Rockwood proprietary end below. Also a pic of the Rockwood wires. Any help mapping this to a standard plug would be appreciated.

From your picture the lower left male pin is ground.

Is the ground on the new harness labeled?

Ok thanks for the replies guys. I understand how the new one should be wired. My question is about the 6 pin coming from the pup. Rockwood wires them non standard so I have no idea which wire is what. I was hoping someone had already mapped it out.

There is a warranty contact list floating around the forum- you're probably best off contacting the warranty manager for a schematic.

I don't have the pin out for you, but use the pic below and a couple alligator clips and a 12v battery of some sort...I used an old mikita drill battery...and you can quickly find what wire goes to what.

Are you saying that from the 7-pin trailer connector there is another six pin inline connector? If so, can't you use an ohmmeter to check the wires from the 7-pin to where the 6-pin is and go from there? I might be confused a bit about this 6-pin thing.

Yup you are exactly right. I bought a 12v light tester. That should work right? How do I test the wires like 12v, brake controller? Will they just light up?

I would suggest doing what gruss01 suggests, but maybe use a car battery. And after you insert the probe from the battery into a pin of the 7-pin connnector, check for 12 volts at the other end by probing each terminal. Then move on to another terminal. Don't forget to connect the battery's ground to the ground of the trailer to get a completed circuit.

Ok, I was going to plug the 7pin into the truck and test each of the 6 ends. Turn on left signal - test...etc...
Turn on right signal - test
brake - test
brake controller - ??
12v charge - ?

That sounds about right, F5 has a good point on your test battery connect the NEG to ground on the camper, then use your test light to ground on the camper. this ensures all the grounds are OK, and if it's gonna take you longer than me a heavier battery might be better. I used a small one back then because I didn't trust the camper wiring and didn't want to get bit hard

For the brake controller not sure how to "test" that without a lot of wire between controller and trailer but since you have a new vehicle it's a safe bet the wiring is correct on the truck side. I'd make sure everything else is wired right then plug it in and make sure your controller "sees" your camper.

I would not worry about testing for the brake controller. You will have six circuits (backup lamps are usually not an option on smaller trailers)
Connector connect; NO light on. Find the 12 volt wire for the battery feed. Check it off.
Turn on headlamps, find 12 volts for the running/clearance lamps on the trailer. Check that circuit off.
Turn on left signal, find that circuit. Check it off
Turn on right signal, find that circuit. Check it off.
That's four circuits, as someone already noted the one showing the male terminal in the 6-pin is most likely ground.
That's five circuit, the last one is the brake controller. I believe it outputs a varying voltage. So have someone SLOWLY apply the brakes, and I believe (just guessing since I always use a digital volt meter), the test lamp will slowly get brighter until the brake is fully applied at which point a full voltage signal is sent to the brakes.
