Replacement LED bulb for 2014 Flagstaff 206ST

I want to replace the bulkbs in my overhead lights to LED. When I removed the bulb, only the glass part came out. I took it to Batteries Plus Bulbs and they didn't carry a LED replacement. They suggested LED 908 or 912.
Question: should the "white part" come out with the bulb or just the glass bulb? I was scared of breaking it if I applied any more power taking it out.

No pic. I tried to post a pic earlier, following the instructions, but it wouldn't work

Is the base round, wedge or screw in?

Does your bulb base look like these?

No. Those are LEDs, which I want. The bulb I removed is a regular tungsten bulb

So, the base is right, the LED is what you want.. did you buy them yet?
Go with a USA seller with the highest seller rating on the Ebay link I provided. I bought 20 qty for my last RV. Two failed that the seller replaced for free.
The 42 LED's are slightly dimmer than the halogens. Warm white 2700K is close to the color temp (look) you have now. If you want it brighter in the living space go with warm white 68 led. Like these.
The wife needed these bulbs to apply the morning war paint in the bathroom. (6000k bright (white/blue) light)

Edit: If the bulbs do not work when you plug them in, remove and turn them over to reverse polarity. My 2 bad bulbs started blinking, replaced for free.

LED Replacement for Wedge Incandescent

Bought 40 of these from Groupbuy, excellent seller on eBay. Installed 32 in AZ, all worked right out of bag, and all were working after 2,000 mile trip to MI. Disc shape has all LED's pointing down, more lumens than cylinder shape. Very low heat.

Easy to find on ebay a bit more money but usually ships quicker on amazon.

When we started replacing on old camper they were $12 each. Now more like $10 a dozen. Replace them all.
