Easy things to check first would be to check the condenser coils to see if they are clean so that air can flow thru them. A cleaning with a water hose will do it. Just don't get too close where you can bend or layover the fins or use to much pressure. Next, check to see if the condenser fan is running when the unit starts, should run all the time to cool the condenser. If they prove to be ok, then you will need a tech to look at it, may be low on freon or some other part failed.
Good Luck.
