Roof AC drain

I have a HW296. I see a few posts about attaching j-channel to the roof ends to act as a gutter, but has anyone figured out how to drain directly from the condensate pan over the side with a hose? Thanks in advance.

I added the "J" channel to the rear and it works great. Get the larger size channel and silicone in place on the underside edge making sure you cut it as long as possible for good drain off. My drain pan has weep holes on the underside so draining it by hose wouldn't work for me.

A swim noodle also works as a less permanent solution to channel water away from the bunk end and to the side. One cut length-wise and tuck under the edge of roof with an overhang of several inches to the side. We try to set up with a slight lean to the left rear, where our A/C is located, to help direct the flow.

I think I will try that first. I am going to use ac pipe insulation since it's longer and the color won't stand out as much. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. This type of gutter is a permanent solution and will help keep streaks off the rear of your camper as well. The best part.... It looks like it belongs there. Happy Camping!!
