I just bought (5/27/12) a 2008 Flagstaff 206 LTD from the original owner that only used it 5 times. We backyard camped the following weekend to give it the ins and outs. All went well.
Took it on a 4 hour away trip the second weekend of ownership. Got everything setup, turned on the AC (roof mount), and was making a bit of a noise. Gave it a little love tap and the noise went away. All is well the rest of the weekend.
No doings until today (6/23/12) opened up the pop up, turned on the AC and the noise is now worse. The only way to get it to stop making the sound (which seems to be the blower fan in a bind) is to push up on the AC unit/roof until the fan is out of the bind.
No signs of leaks or water from what I can tell.
1) With the pop up closed up, is it safe to get on the roof?
2) Over time does the roof sag do to the weight of the AC unit?
3) Is there any tricks to try before taking any extreme measures like taking it to the dealer?
I'm pretty sure I'll have other questions but none are coming to mind right now.
Any help/insight is greatly appreciated
