Is the sag caused by the AC unit?

I do not believe it is.
We had heavy rains yesterday. I got out the ladder this morning & checked the roof for puddling. There wasn't any.

Im curious what this roof sag looks like? Can anyone post a picture? I can't believe 4" of sag on Corey's roof is called normal by the dealer. I don't think I would have accepted that answer.
I notice in the brochures for Rockwood/Flagstaff, they say there is steel bracing laminated into the roof for air conditioning support.

Dan,

The bracing that Rockwood places in the roof is not very strong. The weight of the material can sag over time. The added weight of an A/C unit can hasten the sag. You simply measure by spanning the two sides of the roof with a straight object. A 2x6 or 2x8 on edge will work. You then just simply see how much space you have under the board edge.

I agree. 4" sounds pretty bad.

Vin.
