Roof winch not holding correctly?

Hi all,

It appears as if my roof winch is not holding properly. When I put the roof in the full raised position, I can hear the winch unspool a bit instead of holding fast. It's not enough to make the lift height cable (red cable) go slack, but the rear seems to sag a bit. After a day or so the rear support safety is hard to remove.

If this was an automotive winch, I would suspect that the drum brake is not holding.

Anyone else having this issue?

Ours used to do that until we adjusted our limiter switch. It wasnt going all the way up. Red cable had slack and we couldnt install the door without someone manualy cranking the winch up. It still will back spool a bit. That seems normal.
