Shower Cassette Pulling out from Wall

I have a Rockwood A194HW (a-frame) with the shower cassette. Nothing leaks (fortunately) but the cassette is pulling away from the wall by a good inch or two. I searched on the web and this forum and the only solution posted is to caulk it. I was thinking of something more secure, but that may tend to crack the cassette wall.

Has anyone had this problem and permanently fixed it? If you used caulking, what type and brand do you suggest/not suggest?

I too had my cassette toilet pull away but nothing near an inch! omg. That is one big crack. You will notice that there are screws along the top edge to hold the velcro from the curtain. I would reverse one of these screws out to get the size used. I would then add more screws along he edges to secure it tight to the wall and then re-chaulk.

Good luck.

Vin.
