Shower stall

In our 2516g we have the shower/cassette potty. The caulking has pulled away is few areas where the two pieces come together. I want to recaulk this area to prevent water from getting behind the fiberglass while showering. Is this some type of special caulking or just silicon?

Seems to me silicon would work just fine. It's water resistant and plyable. When I caulk something, I use masking tape to tape off the area above and below where I want to caulk. I caulk the area, run my finger over the caulk then remove the tape. This process gives you a nice clean line of caulk.

The old caulking seems a bit denser than any silicon I have worked with before
