Slider Not Level on Forest River 228D

We recently purchased a 228D which is our 3 tent trailer and first one with a pull out (or for that matter toilet, refrigerator, shower...). We level it prior to set-up, but find that the pull out/dinette is not level after everything is put in place. Any idea of the proper procedure to get the entire unit, or is it normal to have a pull out, which in this case is not supported, slightly tilted due to the weight of the pull out? Should we be using an external jack to support?

We have this same problem with our 2014 425D. Our solution was to raise the dinette side slightly higher than the door side with a leveler block under the wheel. The dinette side is opposite from the sink, so this solution as the virtue of helping the sink drain.

I thought about jacks under the dinette, but was not sure what that would do to to the camper itself.

Same thing happens on my new Roo 233S. Here's a suggestion that will take some trial and error. Set up the camper so it is level with the slide out extended. When you have that set up established, retract the slide and take one of thise sticky level indicators and stick it where you can see it and set it so the bubble shows level, even though the slide out side would actually be high. That way the camper should be level when the slide is deployed.

Level should be determined by using a carpenters level on the floor. Also, DO NOT put anything under the slide out that would extend to the ground! You could damage the slide out if you support the weight of the camper with the slide.
