Small water leak around slide out dinette

Heads up to puppers with slide out dinettes. Our hw 277 has the water heater in the front bench of the dinette. Lately, we noticed a puddle of water on the floor after closing the slide. We had no water leaking during use. If we drained the lines before closing there was no water puddle. I figured it was a loose connection and was afraid it would pop off one day and I would have a flood but could not get to the lines as they are under the slide out floor. There is no access to the area that someone of my limited diy skills dared to tackle. So I took it to an RV repair place to fix it.

It turns out the connection was finger tight on one of the water lines and was looped such that as the dinette slide out, it would tighten the connection and when the dinette was pushed in, the connection would loosen putting water on the floor. If I understood the repair tech, they had to get at it from under the slide and that cover was nailed in place. They fixed the connection and the cover is now screwed in place. All fixed now but thought a heads up was in order.
