Spongy floor - new pop up

Hey all,

I have a new 2012 flagstaff 206ltd pop up. I had a campout in my backyard this past weekend to get used to it before my first trip next week. I noticed there is a spongy/soft spot right in front of the fridge and another one near the dinnette area. I can see the floor bending under my weight and I dont want to ruin the floor.

Is this normal?

I was reading several other threads but I couldnt find anyone having this issue on a pop up camper. The soft spots do not take up a large area of the floor.

Thank you,
Xavier

Mine too

I noticed an area by the dinette that felt the same way. i crawled under the trailer to check it out and everything seemed intact (no cracks or evidence of rot). The area was between supports so I figured it was just bowing a little.

I looked under mine and all looked fine. I'm just not sure if the floor is supposed to have that much give. It doesnt bother me that the soft spots are there if they are normal.

I figured I would probe here before asking the manufacturer or dealer. They are most like to just say its normal even if it is defective to avoid repairs.
