Sway bar ?

Which sway bar for a Chevy Silverado and HW296? I can't get over 60 without a bad sway.

Lots of things to do about sway.

P metric tires swapped out for LT tires.

Anti sway bar setup by the dealer?
Read the manual an do it yourself.

Overloaded unit?
Put it on a diet by tossing things you can do without.

Make sure you WDH is set up properly. We bought Cooper light truck tires to replace the stock Goodyear p rated tires. Keep our Coopers at 80 psi when hooked to the TT and make sure the TT tires are aired to mfg rating also.

Is your pop up level when hitched up?
Do you have enough tongue weight or is your back end heavy with items/water?

I towed a HW277 using my Tundra without WDH/sway bars.

Sorry should have noticed it was a pop up before i started giving my 2 cents. Probably need more tongue weight.

When I took delivery of our A122 A-frame, it porpoised pretty badly, causing the minivan TV to bob its rear end. And this at 25MPH in the dealer's lot.

Dealer recommended Equalizer E2 600/6000 WDH. Now tows wonderfully. Ride of the minivan is close enough to stock that DW is quite content to spell me driving while towing to farther away campgrounds. No sway up to 75MPH on interstates in 20MPH crosswinds (test, normally tow at 65MPH).

Towing my Coleman Westlake PUP/Ford Explorer (no WDH or anti-sway) was miserable and white-knuckle in comparison. Would start swaying at 62MPH.

I highly recommend a combined WDH/anti-sway.

I'm going with a Curt 1000/10,000 to take care of the problem.

That 1000 will probably be overkill. I'd go with something closer to 600 - 800 lb range.

When I was pulling my HW277, I found that it pulled better with more tongue weight so my generator and cooler were stored inside the door as close to the front as possible. Now that was a single axle- you have two which makes it harder to get more tongue weight. So three questions, are you pulling with water? Do you have a second battery? And are both propane tanks full? Your unit prob weighs 5k totally full so tongue should be 500-660. I don't think that would even strain your truck with squat. I think move items to the front and if you really want to try a sway bar, harbor freight has one for 32 bucks.

I tow with with the front end of the trailer slightly down to apply a bit more weight to the hitch, and have never had any sway when pulling. That includes in strong crosswinds that raised the awning assembly to flap up and down.

Too much.

As mentioned 600 would suit your needs.
