Tent Material

We have a new 2516g and went to Hatteras this weekend and had a blast. As I was sitting around my OCD kicked in and was wondering if you can adjust the tent material where it attaches to either the roof or bottom? I noticed that the tent matrial is about an inch and a half too far to one side of the door where the velcro attaches once the door is put in.......the velcro trails off once it gets to the very top of the door....where as if you adjust the tent material towrds the door it would line up perfect. And then, the awning......winds a frequent down there and our camper came with the Dometic Awning that has the poles you slide out and adjust. You can either place the bottom ones in the ball socket or place the tips on and stand them up on the ground with a stake......can you run guide lines off of the top of these to give them more ridgidity?
