The maiden trip, 2716g

Just got back from our 1st trip (Montauk LI) with the Rockwood 2716g. All performed well. With a few exceptions ,Shower needs some mods ( hose to short and there isn't anywhere to clip the shower head). Under the slide out dining table ,hard to reach stuff stored. The opening doesn't stay up and only opens to about a 45 degree angle. All in all it performed well. Had one rain storm and was dry. My wife and I enjoyed the toilet (that early morning go, felt good not to get dressed and walk to the restrooms). I'm sure the next trip out I'll find other things to modify . The Zamp pre wired solar worked perfect with the breifcase solar set up I all ready had , only 35 watts ,but with the long days the battery stayed charged up during the week. Glad all went well. The shower head thing was my first mod, got the ideal form a pintrest photo. Made mine of plexy glass works well. google shower heads for pop up campers you can get some ideals on what will work for you. My next trip not until September, but may get a weekend trip between now and then.
