toilet is not potty trained help

I have a popup with a cassett toilet. I tried to fill the tank with water so I could flush (never been used before). The directions say to pull out the gray tube and fill with water and a little smell good liquid until the small clear tube is filled. I tried to fill the gray tube and the water will not go anywhere. It just sits in the gray tube. WHen I see how the tube is laid out, its attached at the top to the tank so I dont know how water will flow upward anyway. But apparently its supposed to?

I need directions on how to use it.

I already get that I need to fill the waste cassett tank with a little water and smell good liquid so thats not the problem, its the tank that takes the water to flush.

Please help soon if you can Im camping and would like to use the bathroom Monday is a long ways a way

I stuck the city water hose in the grey tube and filled it that way. The tube should extend out so you don't get water in the camper. Never had a problem. If you try to fill it with a pitcher, it won't work. I never put the treatment in the clean water tank, only water. Pour the "smell good" liquid in from inside the camper directly in the cassette tank.

Thank you so much will try that. It makes sense because seems like the water would need to be under pressure to get in that tank. One more question. To empty it?? I see that that gray tube turns to the side and the water I did have laying in there just dumped out when I turned that tube. Is that all I have to do to empty that fresh water out? Or other

The glass tube on the side will pull down and out, then pull the rubber plug out of the end of the tube and simply let it hang down until all the water is out.

When you pull the cassette out to dump it, make sure the "flush" valve inside is closed.

You need to attach the little plastic piece to the end of the grey tube you referenced in order for it to allow you to add more water to the reserve tank.

I tried putting water into the fresh water tank for the toilet as I had shared at the beginning of this tread but to no avail, the water just sat in the gray tube/pipe and wouldn't flow into the tank. Then when I was at Family RV in Ontario they checked it out and tried to putting a hose in it, but the water still didn't want to go through to fill the tank. The tech believed that there was air locked in the tube/pipe so he blew hard into it a few times and and then forced the water into it with the hose alternating both and finally it gave, water started to flow down the gray tube/pipe and fill up the tank. Yeah!!! Now I can use a water pitcher to fill up the fresh water tank for flushing the toilet.
