Urgent: Roof Rack solutions on HW296

I had a HW316th with huge cargo deck carrier on order .. trip all planned out to drive from MA- CA ... ready to go. Weeks of preparation and hunting and gathering ... Dates and non refundable reservations made. Just found out yesterday ... Rockwood delayed their line and the camper is a week late and have to get into a HW296 instead if I want to get out on time ... From ample Storage to no storage. Leaving in a week and am scrambling. Have 4 bikes and loads of stuff. I know I can't take it all, but does anybody have any camper sort of safari roof rack solution idea out there? I got a XXL Thule Force for the roof of my car yeteday ... was trying to find a cargo carrier with a receiver to go between my car and the trailer, but can't tow more than 3500# off of that and 296 is 4300+ ... Answers might be obvious but not seeing anything right now in the time constraint ... you know ... sort of deer blinded by the headlights at the moment. Any help or suggestions are welcome.
I have three 15 year olds who have been packed for 2 weeks ready to go on the trip of their lives ...
Towing with a VW Touareg V10 TDI ... weight isn't an issue.
Thanks in advance!

We went with a front hitch and put a bike rack on it. Works perfect for us. I hope you find a solution, and safe travels!

Just a note that there was no company that made a front hitch for a GMC van do a local fab shop made it and installed it in an afternoon....

We put our kayaks on the roof of our car and bikes on a carrier extender from the hitch. There's a discussion on here from a few years ago. I'll search for it.

Uh... Changing trailers? Time for some phone calls. They burp out 25~35 trailers a day. I don't see why they can't get yours out.
Sounds like the problem is on their end, not yours IMO.

Hi sorry about the delay responding to your question regarding the pictures of the kayak roof racks on my A Frame. The racks are by SPORTS RACK and were installed by the RV dealer I purchased my A Frame from. The fasteners for the kayak are YAKIMA HULLY ROLLERS and we put those one. It’s been three camping seasons and I’m very happy with the setup no issues with either the roof or the kayak.
