Water Drains for a newbie

I have a 2007 Rockwood Freedom 2270; I see the fresh water in gravity hole, I see the city water thinggie, and there is a big black hole next to that which I'm assuming is the drain from the sink? Is that right? I look in there and it looks a bit curved, but I hope that is it? If it is, how do I hook it up so it doesn't just drool out the water that is going through the sink? I dont see any way to attach a hose to it - it makes me think of apollo 13 trying to get that to fit a hose. Also, in my model, when I do fill up the gravity hole for freshwater, how do I drain it? I do see a small PVC pipe under the trailer, but I don't know if that's for the water tank or not... if it is, how do I actually drain in? The manual is pretty useless for almost everything.

So, then if it do fill the gravity hole with a few gallons of water, I'm assuming I then turn on the switch next to my fuse-box there to turn the water pump up... it will make some noise and pressurize and voila?

Hi Red,

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to say that I am not that familiar with your particular unit. The only advice I would give you is to get on your hands and knees with a flashlight and just try to trace the plumbing through the unit for both the supply and the drain. Hopefully it can shed light on what that black hole is.

Good luck.

Vin.

Can you take and post a picture? Might be helpful for us to see it, so we know exactly what you are talking about. Don't want to give you bad advice.

I would have to wait till the weekend to get it opened. I seen a picture of it before with one on the left and one about 10 ins on the right. I should have taken a pic before I lowered it
