Water Leak 2011 HW 276

Hello all! I've followed the forums since we bought our HW 276 in the Spring of 2011 and found a lot of helpful information. I have an issue now for which I am unable to find a solution.

I have what appears to be a leak on the underside of the camper. I say it "appears" to be a leak because there are two small metal tubes protruding from the underside of the camper directly below water supply lines (and some sort of connections) that are on the floor in the cabinet next to the stove on the opposite side of the refrigerator. I've not noticed until recently any water coming from that area. Upon inespection I did notice the small metal tubes. I can't tell, however, if the water is leaking on the outside of the metal tube or if it is draining FROM the metal tube.

I'd appreciate any assistance that any of you can provide.

Thanks,

Steve

Sounds like the low point drains. Is it possible that its coming from them, maybe they are partially opened or not tightly closed.

On my A126 the handles pull up to open (down to close), but yourself be different, I.e. twist to open close.

Hopefully someone with a similar model can jump in and help.

I concur with my fellow jeep owner.

Can you snap a picture of the area and we can tell you for sure.

Thanks for the information. That does make sense. There are handles of some sort in the supply lines above the leak. I will take pictures tomorrow and post them. At this point I don't know if they turn or pull up or push down.

It does sound like the lowpoint drains. If they are they pull up and down.

Excellent information Jeep4Two, Jeeplj8 and GalsofEscape! Indeed it appears to be the low point drains. (I had always wondered why the camper didn't have them!) Both handles were not completely down. I pushed them down and the leak stopped.

Thank you all for the fantastic assistance!

Wonderful, glad that was it. Now you can drain your waterlines. I drain the lines after every trip just cause I do not like to have water sitting there for severals weeks between trips.
