Water leakage problems help

I have a few questions.

1. I bought a Flagstaff 206ltd pop up several months ago. I noticed when I took it out this past weekend I had water leaking in which pooled in the canvas and stained the canvas. When I checked the roof I noticed about 3-4 inches of missing caulking. The dealer is going to look at it this weekend for me. Is this normal to discover defects like this on new campers?

2. I recently noticed my pop up does not have the canvas flaps (sorry dont know the technical term) that cover the metal rails on the tops of the walls. Some of the screws heads securing this cap do not look like they are sitting flush to the cover. Is it possible water can seep in under the screw heads? and why does my model not have this canvas? Every other model up has it. I cant imagine it costs much more to have this added fabric as its only covering the rails.

Judging by the number of responses, I guess not too many people own pups here

Anyways just an update. I dropped the camper off Saturday and the dealership called me this morning and said its been fixed!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY I can go camping this upcoming weekend!!!!!!!

I have such a great experience at this dealership from purchase to the owner orientation, to needing service! WhenI dropped the camper off on saturday the salesman who I purchased the camper from came over to the service desk to make sure I was taken care of!!!!!! This was such a nice gesture. The service department was very friendly and helpful as well!

If anyone is looking to buy a camper in the northeast Arlington RV should be your first stop.

So I picked up the pup yesterday evening and the I am very happy with the repairs. The dealership not only fixed the problem area, they resealed the entire roof, so I would not run into any more issues!

They did a really nice job cleaning the water stain as well which is almost not visible anymore and also replaced my door latch since a pin had popped out.

Now the only problem left is I can't get anyone to go camping with me this weekend. I suppose I'll use camp backyard.
