Buy a quality regulator and throw away the $7 Walmart version. Cheap regulators reduce flow to maintain a preset pressure. Good regulators allow more flow while showing the pressure on a gage. You can adjust the pressure on a good regulator too. I got mine at Camping World for about $50. Amazon sells good ones too.
