What is this switch for?

Hi,
Last week we purchased a 2011 Viking Epic 1706 pop up. It has a sink with faucets, a 3-way refrigerator, and a Suburban NT-20SE furnace.
To the left of the 120v/12v converter is a switch. My guess is that it is for either the water pump or for the furnace. Please help, what is the switch for?
Thank you.
Jon

Not sure it's factory. Maybe it turns the converter off. Where do the wires go?

Without knowing where the wire leads, my guess would be the water pump or battery cut off...

See if the wire goes to the fuse box. Then that fuse should be labeled.

It looks very similar to my water heater or water pump switch though the water heater glows red when its heating.

My switches don't have screws on the face either I think.

Take the next pic with your lens over the edge of that wooden short wall so we can see the wires on the back of the switch.

Thanks

I thought that it could be the water pump switch but, there isn’t any kind of noise when I turn the switch on.

It won’t make a noise if system is pressurized, open faucets and then it will pump, that is if it’s the pump switch?

If that doesn't work you might just have a burnt out water pump. If you have a multi-meter you can go to wherever they hid the water pump, turn the switch on and check for voltage (12VDC). If you have voltage then it's the pump. If not, check all the fuses (probably should have started there). If they're good then you will need to find what that switch controls and what switch controls the water pump...but I bet it is either a fuse or the pump.

We're all guessing here.....
I can't imagine a switch for the furnace.
It's probably water pump.

Do you have a water heater?????

We can't help without more information.

Quite the response and we don't even know what the switch is for.

I agree—I’m pretty sure that it is the pump switch.

Whats the final answer. I really hate when people ask for help and then leave the thread hanging like a bad chad in Florida.
