What make of water filter?

I have a High Wall 277 and can't find my owners manual for the water filter. I'm pretty sure that its the same for all the high walls and most rock woods. Just need to know so I can find a replacement filter.

i don't know of any RV that has a manual for the water filter.
not sure what you need to know. pretty simple as to replacing the cartridge. they are all the standard size, just have different micron ratings.

i guess you could look for the manufacturer's name, on it, and see if they have a website.
should be similar to most cartridge-style filters at HD or Lowes.

They are a standard size. You should be able to find a replacement at Walmart, Kmart, Home Depot, Lowes, or most any hardware store.

Your choice will be, what micron size do you want? The smaller the micron, the more pressure loss across the filter.

What HE said plus I'll add, we have never encountered dirty or cloudy water
yet at least. We just use a cartridge that says for sediment and odor.
These typically have activated charcoal in them and do a decent job of
removing the chlorine smell/taste that some municipal water may have.
We can usually find a 2 pack of charcoal filters in the $10 range.

The filter in ours is a WaterPur. www.waterpur.com Though, what others have said, the filter cartridges are a standard size, and should be available at places like Lowes or Home Depot. The cartridge that came with ours was some kind of a super-duper, extruded carbon type, that filtered out everything, including the water pressure. We had to remove it because the shower was reduced to a trickle.

We drink bottled water, so I'm using a basic sediment filter. Nothing more. Can't remember micron size, but they are about $10 for two of them.

While at lowes, I didn't see a filter that fit. Mine is short and fat. I'll post a picture soon.

Finally got into the trailer. Putting down a little sound pad under the water pump. Found the manufactures label facing the wall. It is from the water pur company. The filter measures 5 inches by 3 inches. After a short look on the Internet, can find the OE for $30 each but no aftermarkets.

Going to take som measurements and see if I can put in a full size unit to cut the price of the filters.

I suggest E-bay. I bought one for our HW296 for less than $20.
