winch problem?

hello! i have a 2014 rockwood premier pop up camper. recently i have developed a problem with lowering the roof with the winch. i experience no problem when raising the unit , but when lowering it will stop midway and i have to manually lower. i would appreciate any feedback on this issue. thanks

Sounds like your lower limit switch is cutting power early. Here is some info from Carefree (winch manufacture) on how to set limit switches.
