Wondering if he was sold a 2009 trailer as a 2010?

My sales docs say 2010 Flagstaff 228D but the VIN sticker says a date of 6/17/2009. Any way to determine from the VIN the actually model year of my trailer? Usually the VIN encodes the date but I don't see anything obvious. I know build dates can be before model dates but 1/2 year?

Vin is date of manufacture but it was probably a 2010 model. its like the 2011 models are built over the winter etc of 2010 for the 2011 season.

to be sure you could google your trailer and see if there is obvious changes.

If the 10th digit of the VIN is 9, then it is a 2009. If the 10th digit of the VIN is A, then it is a 2010.
