A Non-toxic Flea Trap
Here's how to rid an area of fleas without the use of poisons.
You will need a brownie pan or other wide, shallow dish, and a gooseneck table lamp with an incandesant bulb.
Put about an inch of soapy water in the pan, ordinary dish soap (for washing dishes by hand) works great. Set the pan on the floor. Place the gooseneck table lamp on the floor so that the light shines directly into the pan.
Fleas locate their prey by heat. They are drawn to the heat of the lamp and when they jump towards it they land in the water. The surface tension of the water is destroyed by the soap, so rather than bounce off, they sink to the bottom and drown.
The cooler the house (or RV) the better the trap works.
Will not kill flea eggs. Keep the dog and the kids out of it.

I think you have your PITA mixed up with PETA!
PITA = flat pocket type bread. (or slang for Pain In The A**)
PETA = People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. (think Pam Anderson nearly naked in the ads )

Well, if they're upset about this, they sure ain't gonna like the mouse trap that uses the 5 gallon pail.

I learn something new every time I log on here. I thought PETA was "People Eating Tasty Animals". My money was well spent joining you guys. Keep the information coming.

I suppose you could eat the fleas. Monkeys do that. With the soapy water they would at least be clean and the lamp might make them a little warm.
Up to you. They're your fleas.
