We store dry food in zippered plastic bags kept in the large drawer under our stove/oven. For bowls, we've found the collapsible ones work well for us - we use them inside our trailer and collapse to take in our vehicle for outings.

Not very original but we just take the entire container from the house with us....two reasons...I'm feeding pigs they eat a LOT (not really but we do go thru the grub!) and as you can tell the container works out very well as a place to set drinks, remotes, DWs knitting basket, etc.

It works for us!

I use the vittles vault. I have several at home and (as I buy 40 pound bags of dry food) I can put the kibble in these instead of leaving it in the bag. 2 of the small ones will hold a 40 pound bag of kibble and it keeps it fresh, airtight, and bugs/pests can't get into it. The top closes securely and easily. If they tip over, no problem, the lid won't come off and I just put it right side up. Since I use these at home I can stack them (I have 3 high). The base of each one fits into the top of the one below. A little more pricey than some options but once I used them I won't ever use anything else. I like the idea of the drink buddy and will be looking into those for my dogs. Cincia

If you use canned food like I do you might like this idea. I use the metal magazine holders and stack the cans of dog food in them. the ones I got from target will hold 12 cans of dogfood in the floor space of 4 cans. Cincia
make sure you get the wider holders so the cans will fit correctly.
