We have 2 dogs and for the most part the first one stays home. She barks all the time (little breed got her pre-trained very excitable) and she is about 17yrs old (human). So staying home alone with run of the house is ok with her. The other dog is only a year old and she is quiet unless another dog gets close then its bark bark come play with me. We always keep her best interests in mind like this 4th we will be going to Yosemite (i know its crowded) but we will be taking shuttles and dogs can not go on those so she will stay home instead of living in the trailer lonely.

@ gljurczyk - We also have a brit, Dioge (Dee-Oh-Gee). We can't wait to take him camping. Glad to hear they make great camping companions! Not so sure about the rescue cocker who is afraid of everything including herself, but hope springs eternal! Won't have our offline date for approx 2 wks, but still excited!
