Cat in fiver?

We just bought a Wolfpack fiver after years of MH travel. Our cat hates windshield wipers, so we are considering leaving him in the fifth wheel as we travel. Any of you have experience with this?
Also , if you don't like that half dead, loopy look your cat gets on a pill relaxer from the vet, try giving it some crushed cat nip 10 minutes before you leave. It helps our cat.

Why not just try it and see what happens. You can always stop after ten minutes and check.

I'd lock him in a kennel carrier to avoid door ambush when you get there or find the kitty in any number of small spaces, just until he gets used to riding.

We leave ours in the 5th Wheel while traveling, she just sleeps on the bed and has never had any problems.

My one concern would be how hot it would get in there in the summer. I know when we make stops along the way and go into our trailer it can be quite toasty in there on a hot summer day.

Thanks for all the good ideas, everyone. Initial trip went well-a few mournful howls and he slept rest of way-in the truck, no less. Yes, we were afraid fiver would be too hot. Not bothered by wipers either. Must be a less intrusive noise level on this tv.

Sounds like he just hated the MH wiper sound. Some make more of a slapping sound that can drive me crazy much an animal that can actually hear.
