Cinnamon's new brother

Since Gus, the Jack Russell at the Animal Control facility, was not a good fit for us, I went to a local Pet Rescue Shelter. I told them I wanted a small dog. After looking at 3 dogs, they were just too strong and hyper.

I asked if they had ANY dogs that were smaller and more laid back, especially for camping.

So here is my new 'son'. His 'kennel' name was Cobo.

On the way home, I came up with the PERFECT name for my new Furrykid....SUGAR. Now I have CINNAMON and SUGAR.....

I didn't care what kind of dog I got, just as long as it was healthy, small and laidback.....So here is the KARMA part. This is a pic of my dog Penny, that I had to put down in June, after 10 years together. Sugar and Penny look like they could be twins, except they have different plumbing.

Great story. Thank you for sharing.

Good luck with the new son/pup. (What a lucky dog that gets to go camping)
