Please take a step back..... I don't believe the subject of this thread is against the law. I'm not going to research to back that up- it's just my opinion.

Both sides of this debate have been thoroughly and for the most part calmly discussed.
We thank you for your opinions and discussion!

Just please keep calm and we'll let the thread run a little longer but honestly there's not much more to discuss other than more people "voting" their opinion.

Happy Trails!

My family has done it since 1969. Not one dead or pissed-off dog, cat, guinea pig or rabbit yet. Ventilation and regular stops are key factors.

Today, though, my three Setters have the luxury of riding in the back seat of my crew cab.

fumes??

unless you have a camper from the stone age I am confused how all this "bad" exhaust (which is not coming from your tailpipe anyways) is getting into the camper while zooming down the highway??? how is it any different than running an onboard generator?? my 2cents is there is absolutely no issues with letting animals/people ride my camper and be concerned with any health issues resulting from..... as long as the animals/people behave and are comfortable with the ride then get going already and quit worring bout it!!!

GAS!!!

Diesel fumes are more prominent than gas. Especially with exhaust coming from underneath

Dogs in toy hauler

My late wife raised and showed Shar-Pei. When we first got the Wildcat we thought we could crate the dogs in the back.
As a test my wife got in the back on the lower bunk bed. She lasted about 1/2 mile before calling me and said: “Get me the $&@)(;& out of here.!!!”
Only reason took 1/2 mile was trying to dial her cell phone. She was holding onto the bed railings for dear life!!!!

It is important to keep your pet (or your wife) as far forward in the trailer as possible for the smoothest ride.

OK, thanks everyone for your opinions!

This is obviously a touchy subject.
We can tell that because there have been folks post her for their 1st time yet they
have been members for months or years.

It took this subject to bring them into the light!!
Welcome all new posters!!

We're going to close this thread now.
It's ran it's course and there really isn't anything to add except more pro vs con opinions.

Thanks for reading this far!!!
Happy Trails!
